Today, the lubricants industry is experiencing special challenges. They could have led to decline, but they became an impetus for reconsidering previous approaches to business models. Russian enterprises are transforming their production in a short time, increasing capacity, and expanding the range of products. Government initiatives create favorable conditions for the construction of new enterprises. But at the same time, there are a number of acute problems which require an integrated approach.
The Russian industry has always been open to the introduction of best global practices and international cooperation. Today we clearly understand that the development of our own technologies and innovations is a guarantee of sustainable growth, competitiveness and independence. One of the key priorities is to establish dialogue between all stakeholders. The Lubricants Congress offers an up-to-date agenda, distinguished participants and high level discussions.
I hope that the meeting will be productive and each participant will have the opportunity to acquire new ideas, establish business contacts and gain valuable experience.

About Executive Congress
The Russian lubricants market continues its transformation. According to analytical forecasts, the volume of the domestic market is estimated at 1.76 billion liters in 2023 and, as expected by B2X experts, growth in 2024 will be 1.8%, in 2025 will remain 1.8%. Thus, the market volume in 2024 will be approximately 1.80 million tons, and in 2025 - 1.83 million tons. But in different segments, product structure and player shares, there will be different changes under the influence of different factors within 2 upcoming years. The production capacities expansion is due to the significant demand for high–tech lubricants by key consumers - enterprises of metallurgy, mining, agriculture and other industries.
In addition to increasing the volume of products, Russian manufacturers are looking into improving the quality and expand the product range. Major companies plan to modernize assets and build new facilities, replace western additives and components. The Congress will focus on discussing development prospects of the oil & coolant market as well as sales markets, production technologies and business optimization opportunities.
The Executive Congress LUBRICANTS 2025 will be extended to 2 days and expects 200+ participants.

Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya is a historic hotel in the center of Moscow. The hotel building is an architectural monument and was built in 1954. For tourists and business travelers, the hotel offers accommodation, food and recreation services in Moscow.
Top managers and specialists from the leading lubricant producers, technology, services suppliers, distributors and licensors from Russia, Belarus and China discussed the domestic and international demand, production technologies and testing to ensure product quality, product range expansion, optimization of production and technological processes. The event took place on April 1, 2024 in St. Petersburg, sponsored by Sintec Group. The event organizer is the Energy Leader.
The EXECUTIVE CONGRESS was opened with a number of lubricant market overviews presented by B2X Consulting, LubriBase and SBK. The analysis of the Russian market included the results of 2023 and market trends, the demand for engine and transmission oils and free niches, the markets of base oils of groups 1-3 and additives were also considered.

Opening of the congress "LUBRICANTS 2024". Opening remarks
Strategic approaches to project implementation were presented at the EXECUTIVE CONGRESS.
KCC GROUP presented about its capabilities for the turnkey contract production of motor oils and lubricants. IAS Engineering and Consulting and QUALITET Group shared their experience in the lubricants production pre-design study, and the development and evaluation of performance characteristics of additive packages for high-grade lubricating oils, respectively. The SIBUR product offer was also presented to the participants.
Special attention was paid to technologies and solutions to improve product quality. VNIIOS-Nauka shared its experience in filtering industrial oils and developing an effective line of filtration products. Promising lubricants for the Arctic and Far North regions (25 GosNII Chemmotologii of the Russian Ministry of Defense), modern developments in the field of lubricants (VNII NP) and new technologies of LUKOIL additive packages (LLK-International) were presented.

In turn, IPCS RAS presented about the experience and competencies for the development of modern functional additives.
At the end of the EXECUTIVE CONGRESS, during an open discussion, the top managers of leading companies discussed import substitution of additives and components, including the production of raw materials for the synthesis of functional additives, the development of technologies for the synthesis of new additives and their production, as well as engineering and technical support for the production of additives. In addition, delegates had about 5 hours for networking: coffee breaks, extended lunch as well as a Gala cocktail held at the end of the event.
